Sora in Japanese means sky. This glass Katakuchi (pouring bowl) is a reminiscent of night sky, with violet and blue colors and some silver glitters as the stars. The glass is blown, shaped and cooled. The cooling process takes three days in a very low temperature chamber to ensure its durability and strenght. The size of Sora is just right, it does not take much effort to whisk up a formy serving of matcha. Sora is an art piece by itself.
