DESCRIPTION
“Zairai Icho Kamairicha” is a very unique tea. “Zairai” refers to native tea plants that grow natually from seeds. “Icho” is a method of leaving the tea to be lightly oxidized before fixing it. Then the tea pan-fired, but it is not being rolled as other sencha. Therefore, the finished leaves are curly. Being pan-fired also gives the tea a unique profile. It has a strong aroma of white flowers and lychee. A little roasty, yet cooling green with very well balanced astringency.
