DESCRIPTION
“Tezumi” means hand-picked. This sencha is grown in Utogi village, hight up Tatsuyama mountain in Shizuoka. It is lightly steamed, which is called “Asamushi” method. Both Tezumi and Asamushi methods contribute to the taste and beauty of the tea. The dried leaves are glossy deep green. The tea cultivar is Yabukita which is common for Sencha. Sencha is a popular everyday tea in the Japanese homes.
