DESCRIPTION
Ichi Fuji is from our signature single cultivar, Gokou, grown as a single estate tea in Kikugawa, Shizuoka. The tea is shaded for 40 days before it is first picked in the spring, the first harvest of the year, which yields the best quality of matcha. Our Gokou is notable with flower aroma, buttery, and sweet aftertaste.
Our single estate matcha tea leaves are picked, stone ground to a very fine size of 5 – 7 microns, and packed in Japan.
FLAVOR PROFILE
Very aromatic, white flower aroma, deep green in color, rich, velvety with good balance of sweetness, lingering finish.
